A rice dish made by either combining white rice and barley or served as purely as barley. When the dish is made purely from barley, it is called Ggong Boribap. Unlike regular white rice, the added barley makes this dish full of vitamin B1, B2, fiber, complex carbohydrates, and protein. It is also delicious when you sesame oil and mix it with red pepper paste or eating it alongside with doenjang jjigae, chungguk jjigae or hot radish kimchi.
